I was surprised that Hitler did not have a secret plan for Germany; he wrote it all out earlier for all the world to see.
In fact, all the messes currently in progress were written out for your reading pleasure before they were implemented. Remember Jimmy Carter, who said he would never lie to us? So far I haven’t found any lies he told and one truth he told is called the Carter Doctrine which is: “an attempt by any outside force to gain control of the Persian Gulf region will be regarded as an assault on the vital interests of the United States of America, and such an assault will be repelled by any means necessary, including military force.”
Why perpetual wars in the Middle East? Because oil is a “vital interest” of the U.S., that black gold beneath the sands somehow BELONGS to the U.S., the U.S. must CONTROL it and any messing around with it by any OTHER foreign power will be answered with military force.
Add that to the crazed NeoCon’s Project for a New American Century, which calls for multiple wars in multiple countries, which they also published for all the world to see. War, war and more war, woopee, they snort war like an addict snorts coke.
But what is Israel up to…really? That too, has been spelled out in the Yinon Plan, which states: Israel must 1) become an imperial regional power, and 2) must effect the division of the whole area into small states by the dissolution of all existing Arab states. Yes,the goal is Greater Israel, gobbling up Jordan, Iraq, Syria and chunks of other nations who, I don’t know-what do you think-might OBJECT to getting gobbled up by Israel.
So we have a Doctrine that the U.S. will control Middle East oil with military intervention, NeoCons who never met a war they didn’t like, and Israel determined, not to restore the kingdom of David (which was small) but to establish a new Jewish empire.
Mix together in an Anatolian cauldron, add billions in firepower and voila! We have a recipe for what we should have expected-continuous bloodshed and suffering to fulfill mega-maniacal visions of grandeur.
If you prefer a spicier version of this dish, add in a pinch of France’s nostalgia for a colony in Syria and Turkey longing for restoration of the Ottoman Empire. Gee,where are the Mongols? Don’t they want a piece of the action? Don’t they want the right to the lands their ancestors conquered long ago?
I guess not. I can’t find any published plan called Project for Greater Mongolia or the Century of the Golden Horde.
